On our trip out of Washington, we stumbled upon a hidden gem: a charming Italian Grab and Go grocery store. As we shopped the aisles, we were welcomed by the lively presence of a 93-year-old patriarch who even cracked a few jokes with us. And the food selection? Simply divine! From expertly crafted sandwiches to a variety of deli meats and cheeses, this little shop truly celebrates the flavors of Italy. And let's not forget about their impressive collection of Italian wines. Needless to say, we couldn't resist picking up some goodies for a picnic lunch on our way to Shenandoah National Park. Trust us, this was the perfect stop to satisfy our cravings and elevate our picnic.
