Mastro’s Chicago
Date night downtown Chicago! Mastro’s did not disappoint!
There are so many steakhouses to choose from in Chicago. I’ve been to quite a few. Let me tell you why this one is different-
The seafood tower- is make your own seafood tower. This is the first time I’ve seen that!
They have an extensive list of top shelf drinks and fine wines.
Nice intimate lighting and live music playing in the background.
We started our meal off with the Tuna Tartare. It was a nice layering of wonton strips, avacado, and tuna.
Then we split a salad which they split for us on two plates. The salad was the Spicy Mambo Salad. Horseradish and blue cheese salad dressing. I Definitely will be trying to make that at home!
We also split the bone in ribeye 33 ounce and added the waygu butter reduction to it. It honestly did not even need the butter reduction but hey we had to try it!
The truffle mushrooms are a MUST if you like mushrooms. The best I’ve had!
We got the chocolate sin cake to go because it literally would’ve been a sin to try and eat it after this meal!
I hope you get a chance to celebrate life here one night! It is definitely a memorable experience!
Keep in mind- They have a strict dress code and reservations are recommended!
